Flushmount Ceiling Fans

Flush Mount Ceiling Fans, sometimes called "Hugger Fans" are ideal for small spaces and ceilings less than 8' high. The bodies on these fans typically "hug" or attach "flush" with the ceiling which brings their blades closer to the ceiling than most fans. Flush Mount fans can only be used on flat, non-sloped, ceilings. Since Flush Mount and Hugger fan bodies are designed to attach directly to the ceiling without using downrods, these are typically the shortest fans and keep the blades closest to the ceiling - which is ideal for ceilings lower than 8 feet - but they can have a harder time moving air. Since these fans typically do not use downrods they cannot be adjusted for higher or sloped ceilings.
