Ceiling fans with wall switches are popular, partly because they are stable and remain in one immoveable spot - so they rarely get lost. Some are wired into the wall for both power and communication with the fan, others avoid actual hard-wiring and communicate with the fan remotely using battery power. Many others use wiring for power, but communicate with the fan remotely.

Wall Switches can control the fan's speed, direction (forward or reverse), light (uplight and/or downlight), or a combination of these. The description on each of our controls explains what each wall switch can do.
